South Jersey Swim School has been teaching swim lessons in Atlantic County, NJ for over 20 years! Our traditional style offers students a warm environment where water skills are achieved and confidence grows. We are family-centered and strive to create a setting where our families feel involved and comfortable. Parents are encouraged to sit and relax pool side while they watch their children build their swim skills with our knowledgable instructors. We look forward to having you swim with us!

1 on 1 Lessons

Our traditional 1 on 1 swimming lessons are offered at our Egg Harbor Township location. Each student is paired with an instructor for a 30 minute lesson. These lessons are perfect for ages 2 years and up.

Little Swimmers

New this year! We are excited to offer lessons for even our littlest swimmers. During these group lessons, students will swim with a caregiver for an educational and fun 30 minute lesson led by one of our instructors. This class is only for swimmers aged 6-24 months.

Home Lessons

New this year! South Jersey Swim is excited to offer home lessons for those who are interested in having an instructor teach at their home pool. These lessons are available as both 1:1, private lessons or can be booked for a small group of up to 5 students.

Adult Swimmers

Adult swim lessons are offered by South Jersey Swim. For now, please contact us directly to book. More information will be available soon!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Although our lessons are 1 on 1, we typically have 3 students swimming during the same 30 minute lesson. During this time, each student will be swimming with their own instructor.

  • All students will need to wear a bathing suit and bring a towel. Goggles are recommended, but we can also provide a pair for students to borrow during their class. We suggest bringing a bottle of water and a small snack.

  • A deposit of $40 per student is due at the time of sign ups to reserve your spot. The deposit can be paid directly through Venmo to @briannadennis30

    The remainder of the payment must be paid in cash at the time of your first lesson.

    Spring Pricing:

    1 on 1 lessons are $160/student for 4 weeks of lessons.

    Little Swimmers group lessons are $80/student for 4 weeks of lessons.

    Summer Pricing:

    1 on 1 Summer lessons are $320/student for 8 weeks of lessons.

    Little Swimmers group lessons are $200/student for 8 weeks of lessons.

  • If lessons need to be rescheduled due to bad weather Brianna will contact everyone directly with a potential make up day. We do swim in light rain as we will already be wet in the pool!

  • In our Little Swimmers group class (for ages 6-24 months) all students must be accompanied by a caregiver for the full 30 minute lesson.

    In our 1 on 1 lessons and home lessons all students will be accompanied by one of our lifeguard and CPR certified instructors.
